Case subject Hamilton the Cat displays a wide range of emotions of the course of a 3 minute interaction with Scruby Jay.  Recorded May 18 at 3:22pm.

This is again, out of order, but I’m catching up on some time.  This is a hike Amy and I took in Rockville Park outside of Fairfield sometime in January 2008.  This clip is of a large Bay tree that hung over a large rock outcropping.  Rockville is very pretty at certain times of the year, and it is home to our favorte monstor manzanita- one of the larger specimens i’ve seen, with a beautiful exposed red root.

This is out of order, but this short clip is from camping with the boys and various Crosby’s up near Saddlebag Lake.  This was their second backpacking trip.  We went on another this year to Jamison Lake in Plumas County.

Further along in the week of our February 2008 trip we visted Waimea Canyon with the whole crew.   It was a beautiful day as the sequence shows.  This is the drier side of the island, looking southwest.

This is my favorite sequence along the Naulolo Ridge hike in February 2008.  After it rained on us, we opened up onto a slightly washed out portion of the trail.  It would have been kind of sketchy to cross in a downpour.  At this point, the ground was solid and not fully saturated.

The weather changes quick in Hawaii.  What was a beautiful ocean view quickly becomes a rain cloud and rainbow above the valley below.  Another great scene from our trip in February 2008.

Dad and I hiked from the lookout down to the Naulolo ridge and back up on the (I forget ridge).  I’ll have to fix up this description later.

Each year we make a trek on September 23.  This year was unusually stormy, especially 7,000 feet and above.  This movie is from the fire lookout at Sierra Buttes.
